Episode 8: Eventually.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

This week’s been pretty hectic with all the enrollment madness at U.P. Diliman. So I thought I could make a simple, editing-lite video about our recent trip to Nueva Ecija for my Grand Ma’s 70th birthday and about my cousin, Iris “Ate Ahpol” who left for Bangkok Thailand just days ago.

Iris is from Cebu and we were fortunate enough to have her with us before she flies off the country. So after celebrating at Nueva Ecija, since we were all tired with all the hours of travel, we spent her last day at our home back here in Cavite, watching Happy Slip and CokskiBlue videos. Talk about boredom. Hehe.

This video podcast also features my brother, Jet and his usual laid-back self. This is a first time so watch out for my annoying laughs and boring questioning. Be nice.

This was recorded last June 4, 2007, 7:00 PM, an hour before Ate Ahpol left for the airport. I really miss her. We all grew up together, with my brother and my other cousin, (Iris’ sister) Peachy. We were the ultimate Ninja Turtles back then and we used to make up Jumanji riddles like “In the banyo you must wait, till the dice read 5 or 8″. Haha. We always find something to laugh about. It’s hard to even imagine that they’re not an hour-flight away anymore; that the chances of a C-Squared reunion (our imaginary band) is so little now. Sigh. Oh well, I’m looking forward to our Boracay luau and maybe in 5 years, I will be making a video blog about the four of us in Bangkok.

The music is by none other than, my very talented cousin, Peachy. I love the song. Hope you guys like it too.

IS YOUR YOUTUBE BLOCKED? NASA OFFICE OR SCHOOL? TRY THIS EPISODE IN GOOGLE VIDEO.

And now she’s in Bangkok! Check out her latest blog entry: BKK and Me.Ooooh. I actually wrote something. Heh.

@poytee

Teary-eyed ako sa pag-alis niya. :(
Well, experiment lang yung photo flipping sa wonders of Ulead editing effects! Haha! Nagpromote!

@kiro

Oh sure you can call her ate. :D Pero 25 lang yun a. Hehe.

Man, we remember the simplest things in our lives’ greatest turning points. I remember the time we left my milk bottles in the cabinet when we moved to Cebu. :’(

@gibbs

Thanks for the motivation Gibbs. Usually I get carried away in writing. Humahaba na pala di ko napapansin. Pero may times rin na nabablock yung utak ko. And without the videos, I would be having numerous drafts on my posts list. HEhe.

I’ll try to provide background stories in the future eps. :D

@turismo

oi pare! salamat sa pagdaan! :D

@geno

really? cool. Sana makasama ako sa backpacking ni insan. But malas, school is in the way. Panira talaga ang pag-aaral. HEhe.

On my way to your blog to look for Cambodia entries… HEhe.

I wouldnt mind my pictures taken though. Wala lang talagang kumukuha. HAha!

Hi Coy. Thanks for dropping by my blog. From your post, it seems toxic pa rin to enrol in Diliman. I used to line up for electives with short lines. I’d finish right away. Yun nga lang, I was stuck with folk dancing for PE. Ha ha ha.
