For the first time, a record-breaking number of Engineering students joined the annual UP Diliman Lantern Parade. Before I show the parade coverage, I took a detour and shot some footage of the UP Pep Squad doing their thang.

i never actually have seen the UP Pep Squad in action. hmm… considering all the accolades they’ve been getting for their performances at the uaap and the college cheering competition, it’d be interesting to see their acrobatics.

oh, and i miss the lantern parades in the late 80′s and early 90′s, they were much more fun and the floats were huge.
