Reminiscence or Warning?
February 25, 2008 - This day is not just another People Power I anniversary. Today, we will witness how the events of 1986 will converge with the present times and how it will influence the people on whether or not to take ‘communal’ action.
I agree with Benj that bloggers can be a strong force. Expressing our views on Jun Lozada and the current political crisis in our own way will possibly help and enlighten lots of netizens with the controversial issue.
We should speak up while we still can.
Let us all answer the question: What is your stand?
Video Update
I can’t just sit down. I will blog…Push for change and BE the change. I will voice out my opinions and maybe others might want to take responsibility and take a stand.
The change should indeed start with ourselves.
If people just stop tolerating something as simple or small as “kotong” then maybe the culture of corruption in this country might actually lessen.
Di dapat tayo masanay sa katiwalian.
The blogging community is still not entrenched in the field of political blogging. I guess the scene is not conducive for more political blogs. Come to think of it, it’s hard to make it big as a political blogger.
I’m actually guilty of not writing too much socially-relevant posts. I’d want to. But like most other bloggers, I just don’t know where to start. Or I wouldn’t know how to express my thoughts clearly and effectively on the matter.
I also feel that most political topics are already well-covered by our resident political bloggers that people find it hard to expound more on it. In most cases, it’s just either we agree or don’t.
Maybe expressing these ideas in new simple ways like in the form of pictures or videos will also be good contributions to the complicated discussions. It would be interesting to see a political photo blog.

In order for “that woman” (hehe) to continue her mission of “progressing the nation” until her so-called mandate is done in 2010, she’ll have to lift an iron fist. Yes, it is very discerning to think about these possibilities.
At worse, the streets of Manila could see rioting while a more passive middle-upper class could get caught inbetween…
