UPCAT The Movie

I still remember the day I first learned that I passed the UPCAT. I was in a movie house with my high school barkada at Robinson’s Manila (just a few meters from Masci) when I received a text message confirming my name’s inclusion in TEH list. I can’t believe that was almost 6 years ago. And I can’t believe that UPCAT is now a movie.
Yup. It’s now UPCAT’s turn to be featured on the big screen. With indie films becoming more and more popular in the country, it seems like you can make a movie just about anything which is actually a refreshing change from mainstream Pinoy movie themes. Release date hasn’t been announced yet but the trailer is now up:
UPCAT The Movie Stars Felix Roco, Hiyasmin Neri, Bembol Roco, Malou Crisologo, Joseph Roble, Richard Quan and Mark Gil. Theme Song by Raimund Marasigan of Sandwich & Direction by ROMAN CARLO OLIVAREZ.

the film is one of the seven grantees of the 2008 cinema one originals.
we’ll be having a school tour last two weeks of november and a run at robinson’s galeria indiesine on dec 3 to 16.
