The Wildest UP Fair I’ve Seen in Years
The University of the Philippines Diliman Fair Week has always been a staple must-go event every second week of February. Each year, every day has a delectable menu of bands - old and new that doesn’t fail to satisfy the appetite of concert-goers. Present are also different booths, attractions and rides which make the whole UP Fair experience awesome. But behind the fun music and games, violence is also a mainstay in these events. People usually don’t mind. Until last night.

How big was the security force for the fair? In particular when the concert started. Not just the police outside but the security force for the concert?
Very little. Yung nakita ko less than 10 lang. Di ko alam kung nasaan yung iba.
Sayang hindi mo nakuhanan yung RPT na inaabangan ang gatecrashers with their airguns! Scary, video, Coy. Tama lang na hindi ako pumunta. Haha.

Was it really bad? The riot? Ive been to UP Fairs since ‘99 and been hosting a Fair night or two since 2002 and the remarkable riots I remember are 1) when someone was stabbed while Kamikazee was playing “Tsinelas” and 2) a friday night when half of the wall (right of the stage) fell down because of these kids in black 
I was in the backstage nung nag-pile up sila dun sa likod, grabe ang dami nila. Kakatakot. And nakakainis. 
gumulo lang din yun dahil sa pila e. Pero mas madami nanggulo na walang pang entrance kasi sila yung nakatambay malapit sa bakod.
Mukhang binagalan ang pasok ng tao kasi overcrowded na sa loob. Suggestion nga ng kaibigan ko per batch na lang dapat ang pasok e. Tapos palabasin na yung mga nauna. hehe.
