A BIG Thanks to Gibbs Cadiz for giving me the opportunity to go with him to HappySlip’s Press Conference where I got the chance to chat and chill with the guy behind the music of HappySlip’s awesome vlogs - Josh Verdes!

It was just last week when the beautiful Christine Gambito of HappySlip announced on her blog that she’s going back to the Philippines! And just this morning, I got pretty excited when I received this Twitter update from her: “overlooking manila bay right now”. FTW, HAPPYSLIP HAS ARRIVED!!!

She did mention that there could be a Meet and Greet while she’s here; so while we wait for that announcement, I’m just curious, if you guys have the chance to sit down with Christine and ask her ONE question – what would it be?

First off, I would like to greet everyone – Happy Holidays!

From Engineering Week to Year-end parties – I did and still have my hands full and although I got really sick for a couple of days, vacation is a blast so far.

Now that I have a couple of uninterrupted hours of free internet time, let me spend it on some Entrecard dropping and whaddayaknow – a new post about prizes I got, prizes I want and prizes I’m giving away.

By the spirit of the holidays, let me declare my feeling of utmost gratitude to Ms. Janette Toral and to the Filipina Writing Project for awarding my post – The Funniest Filipina Vloggers – as one of the most liked entries of the bunch. With the $100 prize, I finally got enough to buy a new digital camera (a Casio Exilim) which is on top of my new year’s wishlist (and a HUGE necessity for this vlog) . Thank you, thank you, thank you Ma’am Janette!

Wanna. Also, a big congratulations to my high school buddy, Marius “Yos” Oczon, for winning the Grand Prize (a 13″ Macbook) for his Nescafe 3-in-1 flick that I featured here on CokskiBlue! With Yos’s victory and this Eng’g Week filmfest’s great turnout, I just might try my luck on these video-making contests this 2008!

I know I promised to do the videos this year but time was not on my side. And since it’s the first time I’m giving these away, I’m kinda lost on which and what specifics I should ask for. The Funniest Filipina Vloggers

Filipinas don’t just melt our hearts because of their regal beauty and sparkling charisma; they also have these smart wit and outstanding humor that are so unique to them that we can’t help but laugh our melted hearts out. Sometimes, they could even be a lot funnier than most men; and for me, women who knows how to make a guy laugh and doesn’t care to make fun of herself every once in a while is one of the sexiest traits a Filipina could have.

Now put her in front of the camera, make her say and do a bunch of crazy hulabaloos(?) and she still pulls it off? Now that’s gold. That’s why I’m so amazed by these three wonderful Filipina vloggers that is on the top of their game when it comes to humor and vlogging. Let’s all see them in action, shall we?
