Since high school, I already learned how to commute from Cavite to Manila and back. I miss the nightly ride I share with teh Cavite Guys (my “service” barkada).

I miss the lights. Even the traffic.

Salamat Direk! It turns out that Kringy and Direk Roman are pretty good friends. Small, small world. Now, I’m definitely looking forward to the premiere night. Hope I get to meet the cast and crew.

Before I show you two OFFICIAL POSTER LAYOUTS of UPCAT The Movie, lemme share this rant about UP which I’ve picked up from my old site (Masci 2003) written by RJBLirazan. Though I don’t agree with some of his points, I still think it’s worth the read (and it’s quite funneh too!) :

Eto. Magpakatotoo ka. Dito sa skwelahan ng mga api at naapi – eto lang ang kailangan mong tandaan. Maging bato ka. Dapat emotionally drained ang lola mo. Dapat manhid. Dapat walang awa. Ang kailangan mo lang ay isang mataas na GPA. Kung meron ka nuong huli – ikaw ang bida. Ikaw lang at wala nang iba pa. Pero kung feel mo magpaka-darna at kaya mo pagsabay-sabayin lahat kasama ng mataas na GWA, aba iha – baka di ka tao. Check mo dali. Mahirap na.

Don’t EVER EVER EVER FALL IN LOVE WITH A BLOCKMATE. focus on other things – like your GWA. Yang syoting mo, iiwanan ka niyan. Ang grades mo, nakatatak na yan sa nuo mo FOREVER. This is not your idea of a playground. This is school. Mag-aaral ka lang dito. Wala ka dito para lumande at magpakikay. Tapos na yan nung highschool ka. Longtime-partner ba kamo ang gusto mo? Mag-ampon ka ng aso. Wag na tao – dadami lang ang pimples mo. Para sa mga babae – isipin mo na lang na walang matinong lalaki dito (don’t worry hindi masyado mahirap to gawin). Kung lalaki ka – walang magandang babae dito (eto talagang mapapansin mo na). Kung bakla o lesbiana ka – SA LABAS KA MAGHANAP. BASTA WAG SA UP. WAG NA WAG SA BLOCKMATE. Iiyak ka lang. Promise.

Basta sakin yon lang. Walang plastikan. Ayoko kasi sa lahat yung nagsisi.
