Hi guys, this is Coy! Now, as you may have noticed, CokskiBlue has officially moved. Please update your links, bookmarks and spread the word. Also, you can subscribe to my feeds for my latest entries.

My old posts are still on my old blog; I’m currently in the process of importing content but you can still check it out.

Now, in the spirit of celebrating the birth of my new home (thanks BratyFly!), I have whipped up a mini-blogging project for everyone – open for all interested bloggers. This aims to spread the word about the magic of the growing craft of vlogging (video blogging) in the Philippines and to encourage pinoy bloggers to try it out.

And come to think of it, there has not been much about Pinoy Vlogging when you search it in Google. Hope this will be a good start.

Wanna join? Let’s do it! Here are the guidelines (UPDATED!) :

1. Make a blog post about “Pinoy Vlogging”. It could just be your simple observation of vlogging in general. You can do it with any style and relate it to any topic as long as you talk about vlogging in the Philippine context.
2. This blogging project is NOT EXCLUSIVE TO VIDEO BLOGS. You can write an article, record a podcast, do a vlog, or any permutation of the three.
3. Include a link to this post to inform your readers of the project. Use your charm and charisma to make them join too. You can use the banner at the bottom to make your post, uh, prettier.
4. Entries shall have been originally published after the time these guidelines were posted [October 27, 2007] (meaning: no recycled posts) . Re-posts (entries originally published before October 27, 2007) shall be counted as “contributions” and NOT OFFICIAL ENTRIES FOR JUDGING. HOWEVER, it won’t hurt if you make a NEW article about your previous observations for you to expound and give more emphasis to the theme. Then, we’ll accept. Kaya yan.
5. Post a comment on this page about your entry. (You know the drill, guys) Only one entry per blogger. Deadline is on November 13 15, 2007, Tuesday Thursday, 11:59 PM.
6. I will be updating the participants’ links on the sidebar regularly (Yes, I will have a sidebar). Therefore, it would be an advantage for you to send in your entry early.
7. Starting November 14, with some guest judges, we will be looking at all of the entries (all 2 of them, hehe). One entry shall be declared as the Best Post. We will be judging your posts by the content, not by your blogging style (so don’t worry if there are video entries, if ever).
8. And oh, the prize? Lemme see. Since I won’t be having any allowance for the following weeks because of the break, let me award the winner(s) with a 2-3 minute Video for your Blog/Website! Yes. I’ll do my best to make you happy. Hehe. This could be a promotional video for your site OR a post/ blogger-specific vlog OF ANY TOPIC with your own personal specifications (images, videos, etc.). You can also make me say (or do) something in it as long as you don’t violate any Human Rights laws. Or. You can leave it all to me. Note: Sponsors are all very welcome.
9. On November 18, I will be announcing the winner(s) together with CokskiBlue‘s Season Premiere. I will be drawing one random entry from the bunch to be also awarded. All your efforts will be appreciated.
10. UPDATE! The 2 winning blogs (Best Post and Draw Winner), with their respective videos, will be featured as BLOGS OF THE SEASON on this site for the months of November and December 2007 (Holiday Season = More Traffic).
11. UPDATE! A THIRD WINNER will receive the Tinig.Com Award. The recipient of this award will be different from the Best Post and Draw Winners. He/She will be given a 100-Mb hosting service with 1-Gb bandwidth. WordPress can be readily installed for the winner. The recipient can use it under his own domain OR under subdomain.tinig.com. The participant must not have an existing self-hosted blog to win this. The winner will be chosen by me and Ederic Eder of Tinig.Com (Thanks for the donation! ).
12. If you want to contribute your blog post but prefer not to be included in the judging, you can state it on your comment when you inform us of your entry. Old posts (originally published before October 27, 2007) will be accepted.
13. All the participants’ and contributors’ entries will be linked permanently on this site and will have its own page.
14. I might be posting additional guidelines if needed but more or less, everything above is final.
